Spotlight on the Ethical Data Initiative in the SCIROS Big Open Science Podcast: “Inside the Ethical Data Initiative: research, data and trust”

The Big Open Science Podcast (BigOS), curated by the Strategic Collaboration for Interdisciplinary Research on Open Science (SCIROS), focuses on the topic of Open Science within the context of the humanities and social sciences (SSH).

The podcast explores the theoretical, practical, and infrastructural aspects of Open Science, addressing key questions such as its ethical foundations, its global and institutional practices, or open research infrastructures.

In the BigOS podcast of 8th May 2026, Magdalena Wnuk  and Piotr Wciślik, both in the Digital Humanities Centre at the Institute of Literary Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, interview Silvia Milano and Paul Trauttmansdorff at the Technical University of Munich to learn about the EDI’s work in studying and improving research data governance, to explore the EDI’s latest case studies and to discuss how the EDI’s work can help address the growing problem of distrust in science.
